Okay everyone. Do you see this?
Do you see these two words?
They do not mean the same thing.
Can we all decide to stop using “gay” as a synonym for bisexual, since they’re completely different things? Bisexuality is not the same concept as homosexuality, nor is it a subset of it.
That aside I’m all for bi Spiderman
Experiments with virtual reality have found that humans can even learn to function in a four dimensional environment. Our brains are so adaptable, that we get bored with constantly perceiving the same universe. We crave alternate “what-ifs,” where magic is real, or it’s hundreds of years in the future. The only requirement is that the rules of the universe have to be consistent. We can readily accept faster-than-light spaceships and magic wands, so long as the limits of those tools are established and their users are consistently constrained by them. When bad writers arbitrarily changes these rules to suit their needs, our perception of the realness of their universe breaks down, and we become disinterested in the story.
Weeping Angel rules in “Blink”
- Angels turn to stone when anyone is looking at them, including other angles
- The Angels’ touch sends people back in time
Weeping Angel rules in “The Time of Angels”
- Angels constantly move in plain sight of each-other
- Angels outright kill
- That which holds the image of an Angel becomes an Angel
Weeping Angel rules in “The Angels Take Manhatten”
- Who even gives a fuck anymore?
And all of them were WRITTEN BY MOFFAT.
It’s not even like multiple writers were involved fucking up the canon.
One man couldn’t keep his own monsters consistent.
(On Amanda) “She was lost, shooting heroin. But there was something in her that was still strong enough to fight.”
trying to find resonable explanations for the plot holes in moffat’s writing
"this lady thinks that men are encouraged to be aggressive and violent? lets threaten her that will show how wrong she is" like what the fuck point do you think youre making

The thing that sucks about mental illness is that if you aren’t depressed enough, suicidal enough, bad enough, nobody cares. Nobody cares until you reach their standard, and that standard is when your problem is bad enough to effect them
The amount of people who can relate to this makes me equally incredibly sad and immensely angry
“Just so everyone is aware, there is a bunch of misleading info being spread around re: ALS research - the “27%” figure is based on previous years’ annual funding; furthermore, the remainder goes to improving the quality of life of those suffering from ALS. Given that the annual funding is approximately 16M, that’s just over 4M spent on decreasing their suffering. It isn’t greed, it’s a lack of money.”
Shut up already.
And the next time you start to complain about a charity either a) working on multiple fronts (because that’s what ALSA does—both seeking a cure and helping people suffering now) or b) daring to have administration expenses—let’s see how long you can last, much less tackle a cause, without printer paper and an internet connection.
As someone who has watched a family member die from a neuro-degenerative disease; funding to develop better wheelchairs and bedsore creams is *just* as important as funding research to cure the disease itself…
